As told by Brother Daniel to the congregation, “To give thanks to God is to do good works for others. (Hebrews 13:15-16)”
By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.
But to do good and to communicate forget not: for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.
— Hebrews 13:15-16, KJV
For the Members Church of God International (MCGI), this sentiment of MCGI Servant Bro. Daniel Razon serves as a constant reminder to them to always be kindhearted and caring to all, especially to those in need. This conviction to do good works to all is the very reason behind the Church’s global outreach initiative — The Legacy Continues.
To continue the legacy of charity, the congregation has organized a month-long outreach program to serve their fellowmen all over the globe. This event coincides with the start of another batch of The Old Path TV’s Mass Indoctrination Sessions on August 2.
With Diligence, Good Works Continue
Throughout the second and third quarters of the year, brethren and volunteers around the globe have tirelessly looked for ways on how they can help those who are lacking in life; they even extended their helping hands to indigenous tribes in remote areas.
MCGI has launched Free Store, Feeding Program, Free Portable Water Stations, and various wish-granting activities to be of help to underprivileged people regardless of their race and religious affiliation.
Withhold not good from them to whom it is due, when it is in the power of thine hand to do it.
— Proverbs 3:27, KJV
With God’s help and mercy, MCGI will continue to uphold the Christian spirit of generosity and compassion through its charity events all over the world which will be held simultaneously this entire month of August.
