What began as an ordinary Tuesday evening on May 5, 2026, transformed into a profound showcase of faith and heritage as District 5 took center stage.
As the “Featured District” of Serbisyong Kapatiran, hosted by Kuya Daniel Razon, the brethren of Pasig and Marikina offered more than a report; they offered a testament to a collective mission in motion.
The evening’s proceedings followed a narrative of service and resilience:
— The Prelude: A vibrant MMTK presentation electrified the assembly, setting the stage for an audio-visual presentation that paid tribute to the “alluring presence” and heritage of Pasig and Marikina.
— A Record of Service: A cinematic Same-Day Edit (SDE) shifted the focus to the district’s front lines. The video chronicled a relentless schedule of localized MCGI Cares charity efforts and medical missions, documenting the small, quiet acts of kindness by MCGI to the community.
— Story of My Faith: Brother Rowell Ibay, from the Locale of Panorama, Marikina, shared a story of resilience. His testimony served as a poignant call to the brotherhood to anchor their spirits in the unwavering character of God, rather than shifting sands of earthly circumstances.
— A Celebration of Hope: The District Report took an emotional turn when unexpected assistance was extended to members in need.
For Brother Jerome Apostol, an aspirant servant from the MCGI Locale of Concepcion, the gesture was described as a “life-changing moment of benevolence”—a sentiment that visibly resonated throughout the venue.
The event’s weight was underscored by the presence of Brother Mel Magdaraog, Servant-in-Charge, Assistant SIC Brother Robert Navoa, alongside Brother Lito Quizon, and the District 5 Co-Servants.
To God be the glory!
