On Being Baptized
Listening to Bro. Eli Soriano on radio was an accident. Before, I usually listen on FM radio, while my grandfather on the AM band. He listens to the news, and I listen to music. It was about 11 p.m. and my grandfather had just used the radio. I just changed the station and that was it.

Being baptized is really a different experience. It really is.

On MCGI Leaders
Thanks to men like them who teach the Word of God. I haven’t seen any pastor like Bro. Eli. Usually, other pastors just mention a Bible verse, and then teach their own [doctrines] afterwards.

I hope that God will give them longer life because I think that there are still many more that need them.

On Being Baptized
It feels light inside. I feel relieved. I believe that this is what Bro. Eli said that your sins have been cleansed, so I’m really happy.

I’ve been listening to Bro. Eli since a long time ago, but I got turned off because it seemed to me that he was always angry, so I listened to other preachers. However, I felt that something was wrong, even with international pastors like Joel Osten, Joseph Prince, so I went back to Bro. Eli.

I got to listen via the app on Facebook, the MCGI app. It’s in my bookmark. I just press it and i would listen. The time came when I was able to relate with those asking him questions, until I decided to undergo indoctrination.

I’m thankful to Bro. Eli because you don’t stop preaching. I know that you serve wholeheartedly, even though it’s your life at stake. You can really see that he [Bro. Eli Soriano] is angry at false pastors. He’s not afraid for the sake of Christ. I’m thankful because I’ve been called. Many thanks.

On Being Baptized
All I can say is that there is this happiness I feel in my heart. There’s also this feeling that after being baptized I want to strive for my good works to be counted in heaven, and not to think of evil things anymore.

Since my sins have been cleansed, I know that I mustn’t commit new sins that are grievous and deliberate.

My message for Bro. Eli and Bro. Daniel is, many, many thanks because they taught us the right religion and the teachings from God.

First of all, thanks be to God because He made a way for me to be called in the true religion, for me to serve Him. I also thank Bro. Eli for telling the teachings of God in the Bible. My mind was enlightened.

On Being Baptized
I heard Bro. Eli on radio and the Internet via Youtube. There were also some videos uploaded on Truthcaster.com. I actually have a collection [of videos] which I keep. One time when I was on vacation, I felt as if something kept telling me, kept reminding me of the teachings. It’s as if something was always lacking in me, until I developed an interest [in hearing Bro. Eli].

In my indoctrination, I kept on with the sessions because I didn’t hear anything bad. Until now I’m here. I feel light after I get baptized, unlike before.

On MCGI Leaders
I believe that the work of the Church is good. I hope that they’ll be able to help many more and may they have longer life.

On Being Baptized
Now, I’m happy because I believe that I’m here in the right Church, that I’m serving the living God, that the teachings I learn and planted in me has made me good. I believe that my former life which had no direction now has. I’m thankful that I was given a chance to be called unto the true nation of God.

I was able to hear Bro. Eli Soriano way back in 2000, at first via Internet. I watched his debates on Youtube and I was always delighted to hear his explanations.

But time came when I got lost from the right path. Months ago, I was able to listen again and I felt that I was being called already. I had many unrighteous deeds that, no matter what I did, I just couldn’t make right.

In watching Bro. Eli and Bro. Daniel, they were able to answer the questions I had since I was a kid. The other questions I had in me that other people haven’t asked, they were being answered as I watched.

All I can say is that Bro. Eli, thanks. You’ve touched my heart and mind through the true teachings of God.

On Being Baptized
I feel happy now because before I was just always at home listening to Bro. Eli on radio. It’s been since two years ago, but I wasn’t able to find a locale. So I asked my granddaughter who’s taking nursing to help me.

I said to her that “Maybe you can find a worship place of the Church of God because I always listen to Bro. Eli and he said that you need to be baptized.” Then she pointed out a place to me. I went there by myself. They said to me there to get indoctrinated first. With God’s mercy in every day that I went there, I was able to finish the indoctrination sessions. They asked me, “Do you want to be baptized?” I said “Yes.”

When I got baptized, I couldn’t understand what I was feeling: I was crying and all and I couldn’t explain it. I thank the Lord Jesus because my dream of being baptized has finally come true.

My heart is happy that I was baptized before the Lord Jesus takes me. I was baptized in the Church even before He takes me as I am already old.

I’m really thankful Bro. Eli because I heard your preaching on radio, and now I’m in the Church of God. That’s why I’m very, very happy, because before the Lord takes me, I was baptized in the Church of God.

Bro. Eli, thank you very much for teaching the true Church of God. I’m really very happy that’s why I thank God. I’m also an Ilocano.
