The third day of MCGI’s 2nd Quarter Special Thanksgiving of God’s People concluded on June 28, 2026, seamlessly ushering in the second half of the year. This milestone paves the way for an extensive lineup of humanitarian and social services that the Church eagerly anticipates accomplishing in the months ahead.

The Day 3 Thanksgiving presentations featured a global offering of praise, with international locales and Church servants presenting songs of thanksgiving. The performances resonated in various languages, including Filipino, English, Spanish, and Portuguese, reflecting the vibrant unity of the global brotherhood.

Prior to the delivery of the concluding biblical lesson, a documentary highlighted MCGI’s continuous charity efforts, focusing heavily on recent disaster relief operations following earthquakes in Mindanao and Venezuela. Prompt relief missions were deployed to aid heavily affected areas, with a targeted focus on communities where MCGI members reside. These emergency responses are on top of the Church’s regular daily charitable programs.

MCGI Overall Servant Brother Daniel Razon assured the congregation that in times of distress, the Church will steadfastly reach out to provide essential care and assistance to those in need.

During the central Bible topic discussion, Kuya Daniel preached on a vital aspect of God’s forgiveness. He emphasized that whether a child of God undergoes trials intended as a correction or an admonishment, enduring them without a rebellious spirit will ultimately yield spiritual patience.

“Trials should bring a person to obedience, not surrender; and mistakes should serve as lessons for learning,” he exhorted.

Moreover, Kuya Daniel highlighted that God’s servants often encounter extraordinary trials when they face criticism for doing good. “If you are doing good things yet persecuted for it, you are blessed—for you share in the sufferings of Christ,” he remarked.

The Members Church of God International closes the first half of the year with overwhelming gratitude for the Almighty’s abundant grace and mercy, and for the countless opportunities to serve the cause of the Gospel. For this and more, thanks be unto God!

To God be all the glory and the highest praise!
