MCGI Kicks Off Simultaneous Global Blood Drive for the Second Quarter at the MCGI Chapel in Apalit

Spearheaded by Kuya Daniel Razon, the Overall Servant of the Members Church of God International (MCGI), the organization successfully conducted its latest simultaneous mass blood donation drive.

Kuya Daniel kicked off the event in Orani, Bataan on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, while the official simultaneous drive took place the following day, June 24, 2026 (Wednesday), with the main local activity held at the MCGI Chapel in Apalit, Pampanga.

The blood donation activity in Apalit alone successfully gathered 469 bags of blood.

Conducted simultaneously across multiple points in the Philippines and various locale chapters and venues abroad, this latest initiative builds upon a milestone achieved throughout the entire second quarter of 2026 (April–June).

In the Philippines, a total of 6,355 blood bags were collected, while volunteers from abroad contributed 1,304 blood bags. In all, MCGI donated 7,659 blood bags to blood centers, partner hospitals, and institutions.

Because doing good is a way of life for the brotherhood, MCGI remains recognized by various local and international health agencies as one of the world’s leading blood donors.

Hundreds of Miles Apart Yet United in Being Part of MCGI’s Blood Donation Campaign – MCGI Papua New Guinea

With the help and mercy of God, MCGI faithful in Papua New Guinea joined the rest of the congregation worldwide in saving lives by going to local blood banks in three major centers of the country recently. A total of 28 Filipino and Papua New Guinean volunteers qualified as blood donors.

Church members in Port Moresby came over to the Sir Brian Bell Centre for Transfusion Medicine at the Port Moresby General Hospital on June 20, 2026. Ten volunteers passed screening and were able to donate blood. MCGI’s Port Moresby chapter has consistently paid quarterly visits to the said institution since late 2024 as part of MCGI’s blood donation initiatives.

The following day, June 21, MCGI congregants in Lae City went to the blood bank at the Angau Memorial General Hospital. Five successfully donated blood. MCGI Lae City chapter began joining the Church’s quarterly blood donation activities over a year ago.

Lastly, on June 23, 2026, 13 qualified individuals, both members and non-members of the Church, gave blood at the Siar Village Aid Post in Ward 5 of Ambenob Rural LLG in Madang Province. A team from the blood bank at the Madang Provincial Hospital facilitated blood donation in the said place.

The blood bank staffs of all three centers expressed their profound appreciation of MCGI’s regular efforts in helping to augment the country’s blood supply which, sadly, suffers chronic shortage for years now. Thankful to God for the Church’s initiative, they look forward to next quarter’s activities and hope for more successful blood donations.
