With hearts united in love and service, the Members Church of God International joyfully celebrated its first-ever MCGI Widows’, Widowers’, and Single Parents’ Day yesterday, July 5, 2026, through a special gathering held simultaneously in different parts of the world.
This special occasion was dedicated to honoring our beloved widows, widowers, and single parents—brethren whose faith, strength, and perseverance continue to inspire the Church. As an expression of Christian love and care, various services and activities were prepared especially for them, including a medical mission, harana, MCGI Free Store, and a touching Kristiano Drama that paid tribute to their sacrifices and unwavering trust in God.
In his message, Kuya Daniel Razon, MCGI Overall Servant, shared that the special occasion was established to provide greater opportunities for the brethren to care for and serve those who faithfully continue in the service of God despite the unique challenges they face.
Grounded in the biblical exhortations of the Apostle Paul in Galatians 5:13 and Galatians 6:2, which teach believers to serve one another in love and bear one another’s burdens, the event reflected MCGI’s commitment to putting faith into action through sincere service and compassion.
As the first celebration of its kind in the Church, the MCGI Widows’s, Widowers’, and Single Parents’ Day marked a significant milestone in MCGI’s ongoing efforts to strengthen the bonds of brotherhood and extend God’s love to those who need it most. Through united hearts and willing hands, the brethren became instruments of His goodness, fulfilling the commandment to serve one another in love and giving glory to God.
To God be the glory!
