National Park, New Jersey (November 12, 2016) − A ribbon-cutting ceremony marked the inauguration of the Members Church of God International’s (MCGI) New Jersey Coordinating Center, the first Church-acquired property in North America.

The ceremony was joined by brethren from New York, Maryland, and New Jersey, as well as honored guests from the borough council and Hon. City Mayor Mark Cooper himself.

Council President David Misilewich welcomed MCGI members as part of the neighborhood.

“It is our honor to welcome you and have you as a part of our community, and we wish to make you as welcome as possible. Your activities — your anticipated activities — are most appreciated and it is a blessed sign for our community that you are here”, Misilewich stated.

Joys Despite Distance

Meanwhile, MCGI Overall Servants Bro. Eli Soriano and Bro. Daniel Razon extended their well-wishes and special messages to the brethren via video streaming.

Bro. Daniel congratulated the brethren for being united in doing good works.

“As servants of God, may it be seen that in our service to God that we are unified and we are happily fulfilling our duties.”

Bro. Razon, who earned a doctorate degree for his philanthropic works, added that good deeds are a mark of being a servant of God citing Titus 2:14.

Titus 2:14
Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.

Bro. Eli expressed his delight to hear good news about the brethren in South Jersey citing the words of St. Paul in II Corinthians 12:20.

II Corinthians 12:20
For I fear, lest when I come, I shall not find you such as I would, and that I shall be found unto you such as ye would not: lest there be debates, envyings, wraths, strifes, backbitings, whisperings, swellings, tumults:

“God willing I hope to visit your place to see personally the brethren there as it was the hope of the former disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ recorded in the Book of II John 1:12,” Bro. Eli said, hoping to see the brethren face to face one day.
