MCGI Catanduanes Recognized by Police Regional Office 5

On August 1, 2025, the Police Regional Office 5 (PNP Kasurog Bicol) honored the Members Church of God International (MCGI) – Catanduanes with the Stakeholder Award. This event took place during the 30th Police Community Relations Month at Camp BGen Simeon A. Ola in Legazpi City.

The award highlights MCGI’s outreach efforts in Catanduanes, made possible through its partnership with the Catanduanes Police Provincial Office (CatPPO).

On MCGI’s behalf, Brother Mel Magdaraog, the Region 5 Servant-in-Charge, accepted the award.

In a Facebook post, the Catanduanes Police Provincial Office shared their gratitude for this collaboration.

“Their outstanding partnership with Catanduanes Police Provincial Office (CatPPO) through impactful community outreach initiatives earned them a top recognition,” noted the Catanduanes Police.

They added that this includes donating 100 solar street lights for municipal police stations and barangays with Revitalized-Pulis sa Barangay (R-PSB) teams, as well as providing medical and dental missions, legal services, and spiritual guidance to the Catandunganons.

Above all, it is through God’s mercy that we continue to serve and show compassion to communities in the Bicol region and beyond.
