MCGI Benguet Supports Baguio Frontliners and Taho Vendors with Essential Equipment

The MCGI extended its support to the Baguio City community on February 2, 2025, by donating essential equipment to both the Baguio City Police Office (BCPO) Station 6 and the Taho Vendors Association.

The turnover ceremony, held at BCPO Station 6 in Aurora Hill, was attended by MCGI Benguet representatives and BCPO City Director PCOL Ruel Tagel.

The donation included a portable public address system for the BCPO, along with 10 shovels, 57 raincoats (for both police and vendors), two barretas (crowbars), two bolos (large knives), and a spine board. These tools are intended to directly support their daily operations and enhance their service to the community, from improving communication to providing protection from the elements.

MCGI is committed to supporting the efforts of these vital organizations and investing in a stronger, more resilient Baguio City.
