On May 9, 2026, the Members Church of God International (MCGI) hosted its first “Fiesta ng Dios” (Feast Dedicated to God) in Tasmania. The landmark event in Hobart drew a diverse assembly of members and guests from the Northern Territory, Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia, and Western Australia.
The program opened with prayer, followed by a processional parade and a series of cultural presentations. The gathering sought to strengthen communal bonds through choral music, interactive fellowship, and shared activities centered on the organization’s tenets of faith and thanksgiving.
The event featured the “MCGI Cares” outreach initiative. Public services provided at no cost to attendees included health and wellness screenings, legal consultations, barber services for men, and catered meals.
As the celebration came to a close, the joy and unity shared in Tasmania became a lasting reminder of God’s love and the growing brotherhood across Australia, with some brethren expressing hope that the Hobart event would serve as a precursor to future regional assemblies.
To God be the glory!
