Building Better: Bro. Jun Fortuno Story

A life once consumed by drugs and alcohol, Brother Jun Fortuno’s turning point came after he struck his wife in a drunken rage. Following the loss of his job in 2000, he sought forgiveness and discovered the “Ang Dating Daan” program. Inspired by his son’s faith, he and his wife were baptized and found peace by joining the Church choir.

Despite facing hardship, including a time when they subsisted on little more than cassava, our MCGI family supported them with food and work, revealing God’s grace in his life. Today, Brother Jun’s home is a place of charity. Serving as a group servant and choir member, his life stands as a testament to how God can make a broken man whole.
