INQUIRER: And Bro. Eli, will those be saved also be changed?
BRO. ELI SORIANO (EFS): Yes! Definitely! That for them to enjoy eternal life they will be changed. In the book of I Corinthians 15:50-54, it says –
BRO. DANIEL RAZON (DSR): “Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption. Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.”
DSR: That is it, Bro Eli.
EFS: That’s clear. Then those who will be saved shall be changed. From the corruptible, they will put on incorruption. Their mortal bodies will inherit immortality. They will be changed. So, if you are blind, if you are lame, if you are dumb, if you are disabled, come judgment day there is a mercy that God will give to this people, and they will be enjoying life in eternity just like those normal people who have obeyed or fulfilled God’s laws. So, in the long run you will see that God is not unfair.
DSR: And there will no more defects, Bro. Eli.
EFS: Yes. Come judgement day, come the salvation that was promised by our Lord Jesus Christ, these people will obtain mercy. I believe that, with all my heart. These people with mental ills and defect, these people who are physically incapacitated will be the first one to obtain God’s mercy. That is in the book of James 2:13 –
DSR: “For he shall have judgment without mercy, that hath shewed no mercy; and mercy rejoiceth against judgment.”
EFS: You see? "He shall have judgement without mercy to those who showed no mercy." Because – “…mercy rejoiceth against judgment.” You see? God’s judgment will come with mercy to those who have showed mercy. God will always have mercy. And mercy are for these people who are considered less-fortunate in this life. But I believe in the long run, in God’s plan, in God’s view of love and affection to man, these people were not treated unfairly or as others think, that they are not loved by God. Come judgment day they will obtain mercy. That’s our belief. That is in the Bible. Because God created them. He said that to Moses of Exodus 4:11. He said – “ Who hath made man's mouth? or who maketh the dumb, or deaf, or the seeing, or the blind? have not I the LORD?” These people are His creation, so, there is God’s mercy reserved for them.
